Minutes with Cornel from CLC Kenya
Cornel has been in the CLC Kenya for the last 14 years. Now he lives in Kitale, a town near the Ethio-Kenya boarder. On the General Assembly of the CLC that took place in Addis Ababa from 29-31 August, he shared his life experiences in CLC. He talked about the meaning of life in CLC , about CLC as a community and the three pillars of the CLC. The following was taken from what he had said during the event.
What is CLC?
CLC is about life, it is about living whatever the CLC gives; CLC is a way of life. Once you enter the CLC you begin to live a particular life. When we started CLC 14 years ago, we were 46, and there was a Canadian Priest who was accompanying us. At the beginning, our expectation with the priest was so high that within 6 months only 7 of us remained. Those seven chose CLC life to this day. CLC is living this life every moment: whether you are in your office—working, or in the class room—teaching.
